By bus from Melaka bus station (Melaka Sentral)
Take a local bus departing from platform 14-18 from the domestic bus terminal. Ask which bus goes to Bukit Cina. Get off at at Bukit Cina (pronounce "Bookit Cheena"). The ride is just 15 min, after the Mercedes garage you'll pass the Palace hotel and Shell on your left. Press the stop button. Cost: 1.30 RM
Once you get off, cross the the street and walk roughly 100 meters until you reach the roundabout. From here turn right and walk for 50 meters on the right side of the road. Our guesthouse is upstairs on the second floor of the chocolate colour building facing Chinese food stalls, and between an Indian restaurant and a duck rice restaurant.
Our tip: Before getting on the bus, make sure the engine is running and there are some people on the bus. Otherwise you’re likely to wait and sweat a lot inside the bus. You're better off waiting outside in the shade and monitoring which bus is going to leave first (the locals will gladly help you pick the best bus if you ask them).
By taxi from Melaka bus station (Melaka Sentral)
The most convenient option is to take a taxi. The price shouldn't be much more than 20 RM, most taxi drivers should know the way, if not tell them to take you to Jalan Temenggong and you can't miss it. Cost: 15 - 20 RM
From the airport (KLIA/KLIA2)
There are buses that will take you from KLIA/KLIA2 directly to Melaka. It is possible to book the trip in advance through the Transnasional website. Cost: 25 RM.
